Listened to the show Saturday and it was not bad. I was wrapping gifts all that while, and mixing up and cooking enough food for a few days — twice baked potatoes, and meatloaf, and some pasta salad with bacon and cheddar. Enough for a while.
Listened to the show Saturday and it was not bad. Spent a good amount of time going through the kitchen cupboards, cleaning and wiping and pulling out things I haven’t used for years so I might include them in the garage sale I’m having this week. There are a couple dozen homes participating, more of a community event than anything, and there’s a wonderful feeling in the air with cars lined up and down the street and women pushing strollers and young children skipping about.
Listened to the show Saturday and it was not bad. Been a while now that life has ramped up with both college and high school kids home, and two graduations have come and gone with more-than-adequate celebrations on rain-free days. Not that rain is a bad thing, mind you. I, for one, am a big fan of a good rainstorm, as you know. It rained most of today and it has been, if I may say, a lovely June day.
Listened to the show Saturday and it was not bad. I’d finally given in, and spent most of the show in the chair near the window, sipping iced tea and thinking about what is and what is not important. I’d made a mess, you see, and gave more hours to it that afternoon than I’d care to admit. While doing laundry, I’d somehow missed a pocket, and somehow washed in a load of popular clothing a small tube of lanolin. And dried it, too, in a dryer set on high heat.
