Listened to the show Saturday and it was not bad. Took a short walk before the show and a longer one after. So lovely out there with the trees all in bud and the grasses tall in the meadows and the early blooming flowers all rippling and waving in a breeze I’d call a whistle short of a strong wind. I’ve been out walking nearly every day now since the polar temps lifted and the walks get a bit longer each time I go.
Listened to the show Saturday and it was not bad. It was one of those windy days before the rain comes and I was doing a bit of dusting and sorting in preparation for a rather large garage sale I’m planning in June. I know I had one only a few years back, but why not? I invite family and friends to contribute stuff if they wish, and they have and are, and it’s a change to lighten things a bit and get together perhaps and, if nothing else, sit in a lawn chair and meet a few people I’ve not yet met.
Listened to the show Saturday and it was not bad. It was nice to be in the kitchen again, after that crazy lovely stretch in New York and a busy week after rushing about with taxes and car issues and prescription refills. Of course a good life is busy, and mine is both, but a good life is also dappled and threaded with calm and thoughtful days, and seems you always know when it’s time for one, and it has been.
Went to the show Saturday in New York City and it was not bad. MY gosh, it was something. NY was something. People are asking what shows I saw and where I shopped and what I visited, and I have to say I pretty much just WAS in New York. There really wasn’t much time and I wanted more than anything to simply take it all in and that’s exactly what I did.
Listened to the show Saturday and it was not bad. Not bad at all. The whole day, in fact, was pretty dang good. Started out with Mr. S making buckwheat pancakes for breakfast, with side pork and grapefruit with raspberries and coffee. I wondered whether he’d totaled the car or broken something or forgotten to pick up my flower seed order on Friday and was kind of making up for it, but the seeds were right there on the counter and the car looked fine and Mr. S was playing a Johnny Cash album while he cooked.
